Nicholas House Announces New Officers - Local Professionals Join to Fight Family Homelessness
Online, December 6, 2010 (Newswire.com) - Nicholas House announced the election of the 2010-2011 officers. The officers will provide leadership for the board of directors, and will assist in guiding the organization through implementation of objectives for both the community and the Nicholas House Families. The newly elected officers will work with the board of directors to expand outreach support for the organization, which has served homeless families in the Atlanta community for over twenty-eight years.
The five new officers bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to Nicholas House as it seeks to expand its impact for homeless families. Officers elected include:

* Robert (Bob) Hussle, Vice President
* Jeffrey Seay, Treasurer
* Constance (Connie) Davison, Secretary
Through its educational programs for parents, children and youth, Nicholas House equips homeless families to be self-reliant with programs that include both a transitional shelter as well as apartments throughout the Metro Atlanta area. Nicholas House's H2H (Homeless to Homes) apartment-based program was recognized by the Federal Department of Housing and Urban Development as a model for other agencies to replicate in using stimulus funds for housing homeless families in apartments.
