Next Generation Solutions Inc. Supports Charitable Events

The Next Generation Solutions Inc. managers recently announced that the team's philanthropic activities for this holiday season included toy donations for children in underserved families. They also shared why giving back is important.

“We work with change agents who are dedicated to helping kids stay off the streets,” said Jacob, Next Generation Solutions Inc.’s President. “The holidays are a perfect time to give back to children by making spirits brighter for them.”

Luna, Next Generation Solutions Inc.’s head of Human Resources, described how this year, the team’s philanthropic activities included donating toys to children in families in need. “We wanted to do something for others this holiday season,” she said. “As an office, we decided to help those less fortunate who might not be able to put anything under the tree for their children this season.”

The team’s mission for this month has been to collect unused toys to donate to families who are struggling to make ends meet. “Our firm’s work is centered on keeping kids safe,” Luna explained. “This mission starts when they are very young. It’s hard for a child who has been good all year to not receive presents from Santa. It’s an honor for us to fill that void and bring something positive to their lives.”

Next Generation Solutions Inc. Managers Discuss the Benefits of Giving Back

As a firm, Next Generation Solutions Inc. is keenly aware that the need to help others is year-round, not just during the holidays. “The change agents with whom we partner will tell you those in need require help every month, not just in December,” said Jacob. “Our company’s mission is to build awareness for these causes every day. From a charitable perspective, it’s important to consider opportunities to give back other times of year as well as during the holidays.”

Luna suggested that the best way for companies to become more philanthropic is to engage their teams in discussions on what causes or organizations are worthy of their firm’s support. “We want to inspire people to help,” she said. “It’s much easier when everyone is motivated to roll up their sleeves and give back as a team.”

Another point that Luna recommended is for firms to set philanthropic goals. “People tend to respond to measurable goals in business,” she said. “This practice holds true with regard to giving back to communities. If we want to be sincere in our charitable contributions, we need to be focused on clear objectives.”

“At the end of the day, we know our work is improving others’ lives,” said Jacob. “This is what we strive to deliver.”
