Next Generation Solutions Creates Positive Impact in Region

Jacob, Owner of Next Generation Solutions, announced that the firm will host a spring toy drive. He also discussed the company's commitment to philanthropy and other charities with which the team has partnered.

Next Generation Solutions plans to organize four or five drives a year, explained Jacob. “Since opening our office in North Carolina six months ago, we have already donated thousands of toys, along with thousands of hygiene kits to victims of Hurricane Florence.”

The toys go to local children’s hospitals and homeless shelters and Team Next Generation Solutions has donated to the Ronald McDonald House, the Raleigh Rescue Mission, and Zach’s Toy Chest. It’s been a pleasure partnering with these foundations, according to Jacob, and he’s excited to see how many more places he and his team can make a difference.

Next Generation Solutions Puts Charities They Support in the Spotlight

The nonprofits supported by Next Generation Solutions are meaningful to everyone on the team, and Jacob wanted to share some information about each one to help spread their messages of hope and positive change.

Zach’s Toy Chest began in 2009, after Zach Schwab was diagnosed with cancer at only 10 months old. Thankfully he survived, and is doing well today, but while he was in chemotherapy his parents noticed that there was nothing to keep him (or any other child, for that matter) occupied during the treatment. Now, in only ten years, Zach’s Toy Chest makes 30 visits a year to three different hospitals serving 100 counties in North Carolina and have collected over 100,000 toys.

The Raleigh Rescue Mission has been around for almost 60 years, working to help individuals struggling with poverty and homelessness. In that time, they have served over 750,000 people, and the need for their good work continues today. Over 3,400 children are homeless in the Wake County Public School system alone – and that number is rising. While work is being done to address the social issues that lead to homelessness, there is still an immediate need for help.

The Ronald McDonald House is now famous for its work in keeping families with sick children together and connecting them with the services they need. Donating toys is just one of the many ways to get involved with this organization – volunteer opportunities include cooking for the families staying at the Ronald McDonald House, acting as hosts to people from different areas, and more.

Jacob and the entire Next Generation Solutions team are proud of their commitment to philanthropy and look forward to finding more ways to give back in the coming year.
