​Wake Forest Law's online Master of Studies in Law (MSL) is offering two free, lunchtime webinars for professionals working in health law and policy and human resources on March 23 and April 4.

The first webinar, presented by Bryan T. Arkwright, managing consultant, Schumacher Clinical Partners Consulting, will offer "A Telehealth Industry Overview" at noon (EST) on March 23 via WebEx. Registration is required here.

The Master of Studies in Law is a fully online, part-time degree and certificate program for working professionals who need to learn how to navigate the law, not practice it. Students learn to manage risk and add value to their workplace through two tracks: Health Law & Policy or Human Resources.

Participants will learn about the fast-growing telehealth industry, its impact on healthcare and the key stakeholders (patients, providers, health care organizations, vendors), including an overview of the legal issues and risks.

The second webinar, presented by Anna Richardson Smith, Of Counsel, Rountree Losee, will address "What HR Professionals Need to Know About the Administration Transition" at noon (EST) on April 4 via WebEx. Registration is required here.

Participants will learn about the potential impacts of the Trump Administration change on their workplace, including an overview of laws relevant to personnel management.

Applications are accepted throughout the year and there are program start dates available in January, May and August. The application deadline for the May 23 start is April 30.

Due to individual state regulations, Wake Forest Law is currently only accepting applications from residents of the following 35 eligible states: Alaska, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia, Wyoming and Washington, D.C. Authorization is pending in other states.
