Wake Forest Law Launches Online Only, Part-Time MSL Certificate in 'Workplace Legal Fundamentals'
Applications currently being accepted for January 2017
Winston-Salem, NC, December 1, 2016 (Newswire.com) - Wake Forest Law will offer a certificate in “Workplace Legal Fundamentals” beginning January 2017 as part of its fully online, part-time Master of Studies in Law (MSL) degree program. The certificate program can be completed in just two semesters.

The certificate curriculum explores the relationship of contract, property and tort law in private business and the economy, the legal systems governing business relationships, as well as regulatory law and the roles of different law enforcers. Developed with input from industry leaders, all courses are specially designed for and taught only to these professional students, focusing on real-world issues that are immediately applicable, and add value, in the workplace.

Applications are currently being accepted for January 2017. The MSL degree and certificate program was specially designed for professionals who need to navigate the law to better manage risk in the workplace. The MSL is a partner degree for Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Carolina’s Blue University. The degree, which can be completed in less than two years, combines the flexibility and accessibility of online learning with the rigor and academic excellence of Wake Forest Law.
Tuition for the MSL degree and certificate is $900 per credit hour, or $10,800, at the current tuition rate. Students can expect to enroll in 3-6 credit hours per semester.
Due to individual state regulations, Wake Forest Law is currently only accepting applications from residents of the following 35 eligible states: Alaska, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia, Wyoming and Washington, D.C. Authorization is pending in other states.
