Palermo Tuohy Bruno, P.L.L.C. brought a lawsuit in the Supreme Court of New York State to recover damages for a 49-year-old construction worker who was injured on a construction site located in front of a building on First Avenue in New York City. A van crashed into a road construction barrier, causing a piece of the barrier to propel into the worker’s back. The man suffered herniated discs that eventually required surgery. He was not able to return to work following the accident.
