'Nell's Beauty': This Iron Helper Styles the Hair Without Burning the Hand or Wrist
LOS ANGELES, Calif., May 30, 2017 (Newswire.com) - To most every female, their hair is their crowning glory. Nell's Beauty is a thermal protection pad which secures adjustably around the left or right hand, to be used in conjunction with a curling iron, pressing comb, and other heated styling tools. Hot irons reach a temperature of approximately 150ºF, while flat and curling irons can conceivably reach 350-400º, depending upon the coarseness of the hair. Nell’s Beauty is a cotton pad measuring the length and width of the average hand, providing a simple pad that is used to protect one's hand while holding onto an iron for long durations of time. The pad has, sewn into its composition, an adjustable elastic band to fasten about one's hand. The user would then have a completely covered pad for their hand that would stay secure, via the elastic banding, that is easily adjusted for comfort and a non-slip fit. Thus secured, Nell’s Beauty stays in place, leaving no possibility for the cotton pad to slip out from one's grip leaving the hand vulnerable.
