National Radio Personality Ace Alexander to Moderate Hip Hop Forum at Morehouse College
Online, September 19, 2011 (Newswire.com) - Award winning national radio personality Ace Alexander is set to host the "Hip Hop Is Not Our Enemy" panel discussion and book signing for Dr. Kenneth T. Whalum, Jr. on Sept. 22 at Morehouse College in Atlanta, GA.
Whalum, the Memphis, Tennessee-based pastor of New Olivet Baptist Church and author of the book "Hip Hop Is Not Our Enemy: From a Preacher Who Keeps It Real", is conducting live summits and book signings across the U.S. to discuss why Hip Hop is not an enemy to the church and why it should be embraced as a powerful art form.
Alexander, who is also national music director at Sheridan Gospel Network and founder of Airplay360.com, will moderate a panel consisting of Grammy and Dove nominated Christian Hip Hop artists Lecrae and Mr. Del, a former member of the Academy award winning Hip Hop group Three 6 Mafia. Female rapper, Gangsta Boo, who began her career as well with Three 6 Mafia, and urban Gospel Hip Hop group Immeasurable is also scheduled to be on the panel.
