Inspirational Hip Hop Artist Shantell "Charisma" Morrissette to Appear on "Atlanta Live"

Online, November 1, 2012 (Newswire.com) - Inspirational hip hop artist Shantell "Charisma" Morrissette is scheduled to appear on popular Christian television show "Atlanta Live". Viewers can watch the live broadcast of Morrissette's appearance on Nov. 5 at 7 p.m. Eastern on WATC-TV Channel 57.

A first-time guest on the show, Morrissette will share her personal testimony of how she triumphed through traumatic experiences such as domestic abuse and child abandonment to become a positive influence for young people. She will also discuss her music career and the unique services she offers to youth through her Atlanta-based company, Du U LLC, which is the acronym for "Don't Underestimate Urself."

Another topic of discussion during Morrissette's appearance on "Atlanta Live" will be her upcoming stage play, "Miss Lady" premiering Nov. 10 at the University of West Georgia in Carrollton. The heartrending hip hopera that speaks to the issues of domestic abuse, prostitution and teen pregnancy, is based on the life of Morrissette and features music from her CD "Miss Lady."

In addition to an interview on "Atlanta Live", Morrissette will perform her songs "Miss Lady" and "Free". Both songs are highlighted in the live stage production.
