mg Magazine is Featured in the Oakland Museum of California's 'Altered State: Marijuana in California' Exhibition as The Oakland Museum of California Declares "Altered State: Marijuana in California" the First-Ever Museum Exhibit Dedicated to the Much-Debated Plant.
Los Angeles, CA, July 21, 2016 (Newswire.com) - The Oakland Museum of California declares "Altered State: Marijuana in California" the first-ever museum exhibit dedicated to the much-debated plant.
Typically taking about three years from idea to execution, the exhibit’s associate curator, Sarah Seiter, says the marijuana exhibit was fast-tracked to open a year earlier than normal in the hope that people would come see it before voting this November.
"We really want this to be a place where people can have a dialogue and have a really honest conversation about what their hopes and fears are around legalizing marijuana," Seiter said, noting that the museum is not taking a side.
"It was an honor to have mg selected one of the highlighted brands," said Darren Roberts, CEO, CANN Media Group http://mg-daily.com/. "Altered State" exceeded the industry’s expectations and Ms. Seiter curated a very timely and relevant show."
"Altered State: Marijuana in California" is open through September 25, 2016. Tickets may be purchased at the door or online at (www.museumca.org).
