McMillin U Continues To Develop New Agent Talent
Online, May 21, 2014 (Newswire.com) - McMillin Realty's new agent education program, McMillin U, continues to foster fresh, dynamic agents. With 16 graduates last year, 11 graduates so far this year, and 8 agents currently enrolled in the program, McMillin U has been a huge success and a boon to the company.
"McMillin U is a training program that includes 12 hours per week of classroom instruction, coupled with the new agent being actively involved in the business, over a course of two months," said Isabel Hall, General Manager at McMillin Realty, "Each student is then personally mentored to ensure they start their career path in the right direction. These students are selling $3 million to $5 million in sales volume after 12 months in the business, which is remarkable."
The goal of the McMillin U program is to ensure that all the new agents' activities and transactions are reviewed and assisted by an industry professional. The course was developed and designed by McMillin Realty and covers: Intro to business, learning the lingo, expectations as a professional, contracts, risk management, and how to market one's agent business. It is essentially a crash course in owning a small business and a jumpstart on a career in real estate.
