McBee Leadership to Present Multiple Sessions at the PointClickCare Summit
WAYNE, Pa., October 31, 2018 (Newswire.com) - McBee leadership will present two sessions at the upcoming 2018 PointClickCare Summit on November 5 and 6 in Nashville, TN.
The first session, entitled, “Maximizing the Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) and Home Health Continuum of Care Opportunities,” will be co-presented by McBee Assistant Vice President, Keith Boroch, and McBee Consulting Director, Marc Myzal. The session will cover the rapid change in the regulatory dynamics of healthcare, as well as the resultant financial challenges that leave SNF operators scrambling to identify and maintain a sustainable model. Part of the solution is vertical care integration through ownership or partnerships with home health providers. The challenge is the rules, and business dynamics for each type of provider are different and sometimes in direct conflict. This presentation will identify the challenges, as well as opportunities in establishing an SNF/home health care continuum and will provide strategies to effectively address them.
McBee President, Mike Dordick will present, “Everything You Need to Know About the Patient-Driven Grouping Model for Home Care,” alongside Mary Henschel, Director of Client Success from PointClickCare, and Greg von Arx, CEO of Recover Health. During this session, participants will learn the background behind changing the Medicare payment model for home health agencies. Participants will hear how one agency is examining their data and preparing to make the transition, as well as how the PointClickCare home care product team is preparing to update the solution to adjust to the new model.
