Los Angeles Attorneys Show Skills on the Basketball Court for Charity

Lawyers from Los Angeles County team up to play basketball at LATLC's 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament and 3 Point Contest to raise money for special needs children.

Top Los Angeles attorneys are ready to step out of the courtroom and onto the basketball court at Los Angeles Trial Lawyers' Charities' (LATLC) 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament and 3 Point Contest. Sixteen teams from Los Angeles County law firms will compete against one another on Saturday, April 9, 2022, at El Segundo Recreation Park in a friendly athletic competition to raise money for LATLC's Great Tryke Giveaway.

Now in its second year, this family-friendly event gives these hard-working lawyers a chance to let off some steam and have fun on the basketball court for a good cause, while being cheered on by their friends and colleagues. A family carnival featuring music, games, arts and crafts, snacks and refreshments, and a bounce house will be enjoyed throughout the day by spectators, while participants compete for both the 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament and the 3 Point Contest Trophy.

All proceeds from the day will go towards LATLC's Great Tryke Giveaway, which will take place in Long Beach on Saturday, June 4, 2022. The Great Tryke Giveaway is one of the most important events on LATLC's calendar, as they team up with SoCal Trykers to gift special needs children their own adaptive tricycles. Last year the 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament raised $30,000 for the Great Tryke Giveaway.

"The lawyers of LATLC are thrilled that the 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament is upon us again," says Los Angeles Trial Lawyers' Charities 2022 President Steve Vartazarian. "It promises to be another fun-filled day for the whole family, and we are excited to see which Los Angeles County law firm will win the right to have the coveted trophy in their office for the next year."

Los Angeles Trial Lawyers' Charities' 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament and 3-Point Contest will take place from 9 am-5 pm on Saturday, April 9, 2022, at El Segundo Recreation Park at 401 Sheldon St, El Segundo.
