Local Woman Speaker Of Suicide Loss And Grief Starts Walk Group For Out Of The Darkness Walk.
Online, September 6, 2010 (Newswire.com) - Spokane, WA - Leslie Stickel of Hope Defined coordinates a team for the Out of the Darkness walk sponsored by the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention to increase awareness and to prevent suicide.
Leslie says: "I'm walking in memory of my mom, Jean...She truly was an amazing woman."
The walk will take place at Mission Park (E Mission Ave & N Superior St.) in Spokane, WA on September 19th, 2010. Registration 09/19/2010 @ 9:30AM Check-in Time: 11:00AM to 12:00PM. Walk starts: 09/19/2010 @ 12:00pm Ends: 2:00PM Donation Cutoff: 12/31/2010 12:00AM
Individuals can register for free for the walk. When an individual raises $150 for the team, they get a t-shirt. If any business owners want to sponsor this event they can get the logo on a shirt. "Any contribution will help the work of AFSP, and all donations are 100% tax deductible." Says Leslie.
