Local Roofing Contractor and National Material Manufacturer Donating Work to the Albuquerque Rescue Mission
Albuquerque, NM, November 7, 2014 (Newswire.com) - RoofCARE, New Mexico’s sustainable roofing contractor, is partnering with Tremco for the 3rd Annual Roof Angel Project, an event in which they donate roof repairs to a non-profit in need.
The event will take place from Tuesday, December 9th to Thursday, December 11th, at the Albuquerque Rescue Mission (ARM), 525 2nd St SW, Albuquerque, NM 87102. RoofCARE will be repairing the roof of their newest building on 214 Coal Ave SW, which has multiple leaks and has been a constant headache for ARM Staff.
We'd like to challenge other roofing contractors and material manufacturers to follow our lead and donate, however they can, to the Albuquerque Rescue Mission and other non-profits. Our home cities would be a better place if we all contributed with philanthropic efforts like this.
Louis Zaina, CEO, RoofCARE
The 214 Coal building, formerly the Keshet Dance Studio, was acquired by ARM in September of 2013. The leaks have been very detrimental to their plans to build out the space, which include new Administrative Offices and the Women’s Center of Hope. Tremco has generously offered to donate the materials needed to make the repairs and RoofCARE will be performing the work, which includes leak repairs and preventative maintenance.

The Albuquerque Rescue Mission was originally founded in 1954. It is a faith-based ministry, striving to end homelessness through addressing the causes, as well as the body, mind, soul, and spirit. They rely totally on the donations of people who share their desire to make an impact on the world, and to help the homeless of Albuquerque. Each year they provide food, clothing and housing for thousands. They offer a variety of different programs, ranging from men and women-specific to veteran’s programs.
Last year, RoofCARE conducted the Roof Angel Project at Joy Junction’s Multi-Purpose Building in Albuquerque, successfully repairing several leaks and stopping the spread of damage. In 2012, RoofCARE’s Las Cruces Branch donated their services to the Center Against Family Violence in El Paso, TX for the 1st Annual Roof Angel Project.
RoofCARE and Tremco challenge other roofing contractors and material manufacturers to follow their lead and donate, however they can, to the ARM and other non-profits. They feel that our home cities would be a better place if we all contributed with these philanthropic efforts.
