Lawbooth Shifts Model: Innovative Scheduling Technology Now Available for Free

Boulder tech startup offers beta version for attorneys nationwide

The contact form is dead. In fact, it’s been dead for the last 10 years. Simply put, with the newer generations demanding immediacy and efficiency, that contact form on your law firm’s website makes your practice look impersonal and archaic. So what else can you do to triage new clients who want to meet, or existing clients that want to schedule a follow-up meeting? That is where Lawbooth’s state-of-the-art secure booking widget comes in.

Lawbooth, an online marketplace for legal advice, is giving away their unique scheduling technology to attorneys – for free. While it may sound too good to be true, there’s no catch. After more than two years in the online legal industry, Lawbooth recognized the inefficiencies of website contact forms most law firms utilize, as well as the gaps in online scheduling solutions that weren’t built with lawyers in mind. So the Boulder-based tech startup decided to offer attorneys their streamlined scheduling platform at no cost.

"Lawbooth's scheduling widget is proven to increase conversions by 3x, easily doubling an attorney's ROI relative to their current marketing strategies."

Starting today, Lawbooth is offering an exclusive beta program of their scheduling technology to the first 100 attorneys that request participation on

“Typically, the process of scheduling an appointment can result in up to an hour of wasted time due to back and forth emails or phone calls,” said Willy Ogorzaly, co-founder of Lawbooth. “Our technology makes this process seamless and instantaneous, and provides a more enjoyable experience to clients and attorneys alike.”

By simply copying and pasting a few lines of code and syncing their Google, Apple, or Outlook calendars, attorneys can embed the scheduling technology anywhere on their website and in a variety of formats. Using this scheduling technology, both new and existing clients will be able to book appointments during the available time slots in an attorney’s calendar. Unlike competing scheduling solutions, Lawbooth syncs in real-time with your calendar, ensuring that clients only have access to empty and available timeslots during a lawyer’s customized availability periods. This provides a much better user experience relative to the contact form, and saves both clients and attorneys a significant chunk of time by eliminating the back and forth emails and phone calls.

Lawbooth’s technology offers a simpler way for clients to book appointments with an attorney. The platform syncs with an attorney’s calendar, allowing clients to see only available time slots and secure a meeting in less than a minute. Both users and Lawbooth are unable to see the appointments in attorneys calendar, ensuring that there is no breach in attorney-client confidentiality. Once an appointment is booked, the details of the meeting show immediately appear in the attorney’s calendar.

Beyond the time savings and increase in conversions, other benefits from using Lawbooth’s scheduling technology include: offering the ability for clients to choose meeting location (including phone, in-person, or video conference), to send clients automatic reminders and follow up messages (email and/or SMS) and track where your leads are coming from, just to name a few.

“At first, it felt risky to give away such robust technology for free,” said Ogorzaly. “But we realized that the typical contact form causes unnecessary inefficiencies in the attorney-client connection process. Attorneys are spending thousands of dollars per month to drive clients to their website, hoping that the client will message them through their outdated contact forms. Sadly, only a small percentage do, and the result is an unnecessarily high cost-per-acquisition for attorneys across the board. Lawbooth’s scheduling widget is proven to increase conversions by 3x, easily doubling an attorney’s ROI relative to their current marketing strategies. This is a solution to a serious and growing problem – attorney marketing spend grew from $7.2 billion in 2012 to over $12 billion in 2014. Our vision for this technology is that it could one day lower the end costs for clients, who ultimately bear the high costs of an attorney’s marketing strategies.”

Not only does the Lawbooth booking widget offer attorneys more time to spend with current and existing clients, but it also helps attorneys close more new leads as well.

The odds of a lead (or client) entering the sales process are 21 times greater when they are contacted within five minutes versus 30 minutes after a request was submitted. Clients nowadays are accustomed to instant gratification, and buyers are 50 percent more likely to go with whichever company that responds first.

“It’s becoming painstakingly clear that with any lead generating system nowadays, you not only need to respond quickly, but instantly.” said Ogorzaly “The longer it takes an attorney to secure a client meeting, the more it hurts their practice, so our goal is to make that process as simple as possible for both attorneys and clients alike.”
