Lake Square Mall is Gearing Up for a Season of Holiday Fun
LEESBURG, Fla., September 4, 2018 (Newswire.com) - Things are moving along swiftly at the newly revived Lake Square Mall. Lake County’s only enclosed shopping mall, which is the area’s largest destination for fashion and family fun, is actively continuing its interior and exterior renovations as the beginning of the autumn season approaches.
Construction in the works - Exciting updates to the first entrance of the mall have officially begun and will include an enclosed drive-up & drop-off lane featuring new pavers and artistic lighting. Upgrades on underground utilities are nearly complete and the façade work is set to start in the final week of August.
Holiday stores opening soon – Although summer may not be over yet, seasonal and holiday shopping is just around the corner. Spirit Halloween will be opening their doors soon in the location across from Books A Million. Stop by for all Halloween needs, including all of this year’s trendiest (and spookiest) costumes and decorations.
Get in the Christmas spirit at The Christmas House, opening soon in the Dance Studio across from the leasing office. The Leesburg Christmas House will offer gifts and décor from more than 100 creative holiday crafters. Come by for a bit of holiday inspiration and pick up some gorgeous, handcrafted items to pass down for generations to come.
On September 1, a book signing with author Brad Haizlip for his new book, "The Old Time Comedian Quiz Book," was held at Lake Square Mall. Haizlip’s book explores the original masters of comedy going back as far as silent film and early radio shows. It was a chance for fans to meet Haizlip, get a signed copy of the book, and hear an excerpt from this fascinating new read.
Upcoming Events – On Nov. 8, Lake Square Mall will be hosting “Paychecks for Veterans,” a job fair focused exclusively on helping our nation’s veterans find jobs at local businesses.
