KBE Building Corporation Appoints New Director of Field Operations for Mid-Atlantic Office
Online, March 10, 2014 (Newswire.com) - KBE Building Corporation has promoted Robert Baumann from Project Executive to Director of Field Operations for the firm's Mid-Atlantic office in Columbia, Maryland. Mr. Baumann has been with KBE since 2012.
"I'm pleased to welcome Bob to his new position in our Maryland office. Based on his success as a Project Executive, I know he'll do a stellar job of managing our Mid-Atlantic field operations," said Eric Brown, KBE principal and Senior Vice President of Operations.
As Director of Field Operations, Mr. Baumann will manage all field construction and project management services for the Mid-Atlantic region. He has more than 30 years' worth of experience and contacts in the Baltimore and D.C. marketplaces, having developed trusted relationships both in the field and in the office.
Before joining KBE, Mr. Baumann was Vice President of Coakley & Williams Construction, an 86-year-old construction firm based in Washington, D.C. He was also Senior Project Manager and Vice President of Columbia Construction Company, a Boston-based commercial construction firm serving the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic.
Mr. Baumann holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from the University of Maryland. He received his LEED Accredited Professional certification in June 2009.
