Israel Tennis Centers Hosts Prestigious Israeli Tennis Championships

The Israel Tennis Centers Foundation announced that the ITC will be home to one of the most important tennis tournaments held in Israel. Athletes will be competing for the coveted title of champion at the Israeli Tennis Championships taking place between December 11th and 18th at the ITC's headquarter facility in Ramat Hasharon.

The Israel Tennis Centers Foundation announced that the ITC will be home to one of the most important tennis tournaments held in Israel. Athletes will be competing for the coveted title of champion at the Israeli Tennis Championships taking place between December 11th and 18th at the ITC’s headquarter facility in Ramat Hasharon.

Superstars from the around the country will all be there to compete in this premier event. They include world ranked men’s singles stars and ITC alum Dudi Sela and Amir Weintraub as well as promising rising players Bar Botzer, Ben Patael, Idan Leshem, Israeli Junior champion Ram Kapach and Yishai Uliel, who is making his debut at this year’s event.

On the women’s side, top ranked players including Julia Glushko, Deniz Khazaniuk, Olga Fridman and Israeli junior champion Shelly Krolitzky are all scheduled to compete.

Qualifying rounds begin on Friday, December 11th, with the exciting Finals a week later on Friday, December 18th. Between the men’s and women’s Finals, there will be a Davis Cup match between championship teams from 1987 and 2009. In addition, the finals of the Israeli National League for men and women will take place on Friday, December 13th. And on Monday, December 14th, a special “Kids Day” event will be held featuring a variety of sporting activities for children of all ages.
