Invents Unveils "Turtle Gear", Keep Outdoorsmen/women Free Of Rain, Snow & Sleet
New York, NY, December 9, 2014 (Newswire.com) - Just as a turtle can hide in his shell, the wearer of this new gear will hide from rain, sleet and snow. Turtle Gear is a specially designed backpack featuring an integrated, all-purpose raincoat. The design intent of the Turtle Gear is to provide those utilizing a backpack with an easily accessible means of staying comfortable and dry when surprised by sudden wet weather.
Taken separately, the backpack is similar in appearance to a standard backpack and produced using reinforced, waterproof textile material such as Gore-Tex® and feature an ample amount of storage compartments with two adjustable shoulder straps. Centrally positioned on the front rear of the unit, the raincoat features a zipper closure system which secures the weather resistant raincoat directly to the backpack. Fashioned from materials similar to Gore-Tex®, this garment has a hood as well as drawstring closures for optimal weather protection. There also are interior pockets. Turtle Gear is produced in a range of sizes for use by teens and adults or a one-size-fits-all standard.
"Turtle Gear supports the needs of almost every single avid outdoor individual and keeps the users dry from rain, snow and sleet without fail. It works perfectly!"
Paulette Rasin, Designer
Turtle Gear was invented by Paulette Rasin of Staten Island, NY who said, “Turtle Gear is a practical two-in-one product and is great for students who haul heavy books around as well as for family members who are camping enthusiasts. It is far better than having to carry an umbrella and is a versatile alternative to existing backpacks. Best of all, Turtle Gear works!”
