Invents Unveils "Scented Nose Cup"— Reduce Dread With This Patient Aid During Dental Procedures
New York, NY, December 23, 2014 (Newswire.com) - The Scented Nose Cup is an unobtrusive apparatus containing a fragrant aroma to be applied to the nose during medical or dental procedures which give off an unpleasant odor. The design intent is to provide patients with an easily applied scented nose covering or cup which will mask unpleasant odors as well as block the nasal passages from flying debris.
The Scented Nose Cup works equally well during dental or other surgical procedures (for which it was primarily designed) but also in other catastrophic circumstances where horrendous and vile odors are present. The multilevel pleated fabric features a malleable clip comprised of metal, plastic or similar material and as such has a bendable band or wire on top and bottom within the fabric that compresses to the contour of the bridge of the nose and beneath the nose and nostrils and a distance up both lateral sides of the nose. Televised test marketing has been completed indicating exceptional consumer interest in the Scented Nose Cup.
Oral surgery is not a happy thought to many of us. The Scented Nose Cup allows the patient — your or me — to enjoy a pleasant scent during the procedure."
Martha Miers, Inventor
The Patented Scented Nose Cup was invented by Martha Miers of Richland, WA who said, “Anyone who has had oral surgery or other dental procedures will realize the benefit of the Scented Nose Cup. It fits in such a way that while a procedure is being performed, the patient enjoys the pleasant scent offered by the Scented Nose Cup. It works perfectly.”
