Ball caps have an amazingly worldwide popularity. For some people, their ball caps are valuable antiques or memories of past good times. They want to preserve their ball caps and keep them in pristine condition. The DND Cap Protector can do just that. It is a form-fitting, protective “safe” designed to protect and maintain the shape of a ball cap when not in use. Available in small, medium, and large sizes to fit any cap size, the DND Cap Protector protects a stored ball cap from dust, dirt, and smoke, as well as ensuring that the cap maintains its “like new” shape.
The Patent Pending DND Cap Protector was invented by Michelle Jimenez of New York, NY, who said, “The DND Cap Protector is a lightweight, form-fitting, ball-cap shaped protector that is made of molded plastic. The DND Cap Protector is tough, durable, scratch- and impact-resistant. It is in the shape of a slightly oversize ball cap, similar to a plastic box shaped like an oversized ball cap. The top and bottom of the DND Cap Protector open and close like a clam shell by a hinge at the back of the “cap”. The bottom piece of the Protector is molded to fit into the underside of a ball cap, and the top piece is molded to fit over the top of a ball cap. This makes a form-fitting “cap safe” into which a ball cap is placed for safe storage. Multiple protectors can be stacked for easy storage. Also, the underside of the DND Cap Protector has a hook or loop at the back, so that the Protector can be hung on a wall.”
"I call the DND Cap Protector a 'cap safe' because is keeps the cap looking like new. It can be hung on a wall with others and can be stacked with multiple protectors for easy storage."
Michelle Jimene, Inventor
The inventor added, “Priced at about half the cost of a low-end ball cap, the DND Cap Protector is a minimal investment. This minimal investment pays off in the extended life, and like-new appearance, of the cap one would use it for.”
