Nothing is more frustrating than having one's valuable possessions lost or stolen. Imagine a way to always be able to find such items, whether lost or stolen. The Finder is a GPS tracking chip that one can conceal within a purse, bicycle, motorcycle, golf cart, ATV, watercraft, computer, keys, camera bag, luggage or other valuables. A software application is used on any smartphone, computer or tablet to track that chip and the object on which it is discretely attached. The Finder, along with the software application enables owners and the police to locate and recover these stolen goods.
Patent Pending, The Finder was invented by Donald Kale of Quakertown, PA, who said, “The tracking chip of The Finder is unique and equipped with a non-repeatable RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) code. This unique identifying code is entered into one's smartphone, laptop or tablet via the application software. The tracking chip can be concealed within any location unlikely to be disturbed by a thief. The Finder can be used with a wide variety of possessions and each of these items can be tracked separately and each can have the chip concealed within or affixed to it in a discreet location. The Finder application can permit the registering of multiple tracking chips.”
The inventor added, “The application may also be configured to allow the user to contact his or her local 911 responder while tracking a stolen object, in order to share the tracking information with law enforcement. With The Finder application downloaded into one's smartphone and the item(s) to be tracked registered, the smartphone acts as a handheld GPS unit to track and locate, in real time and with precise geographical coordinates, the tracking chip, and hence the tracked item.”
