InBite, an App to Gift Food and Drinks, Changing Hospitality and Social Interaction

Free downloadable app enables users to share a food or drink item with a quick click on InBite to gift to friends and family at participating restaurants and bars.

Available for download in March 2019, InBite is an app that will allow users to purchase food and drinks for friends and family around the Miami, Florida area. Compatible with all smartphones, InBite will be freely accessible through the Apple Store and on Google Play. Users will be able to digitally engage by sending an InBite to other users at participating locations.

InBite wants to provide its users with a tangible experience by breaking down the barriers of social media and engaging in real interactions. Rather than simply liking or commenting on a picture, users will be able to supplement that like or comment with a food or drink. If a user sees their friend is at an establishment partnered with InBite, that user can select a drink or food item off the menu to send. The friend receiving the InBite will be given the option to accept or reject it. Once the friend has accepted, they will receive a QR code that can be scanned at the in-house QR station to receive their food or drink.

“The idea was born out of how to unite and live a real and tangible experience,” explained InBite CEO, Sebastian Vinelli. Socializing through digital mediums has become the norm and with so many social apps available, InBite wants to expand that social umbrella by giving users the means to treat the special people in their life. It’s the importance of sharing something physically rather than digitally that sparked the idea of InBite.

Different from other social apps, InBite will give people the ability to physically interact with their friends and family. The app will include a map that displays establishments accepting InBite. With a live location-dot visible, users will be able to choose the best location by gauging the distance of the participating restaurants or bars. Free for establishments and users to download, these gifted InBites will be accessed through a QR code to quickly scan at the QR station, making it easy and efficient for both parties.

InBite will change the way people digitally interact in March 2019. For more information, please visit www.inbite.com or like and comment at inbiteapp.
