IEC Applauds the President's Effort to Close the Skills Gap

ALEXANDRIA, VA, June 16, 2017 (Newswire.com) - The Independent Electrical Contractors (IEC) applauds President Trump for signing an executive order to further advance apprenticeship opportunities across the country. With a projected deficit of over 150,000 electricians by the year 2020, IEC and its 50 chapters stand ready to work with the Trump Administration to close the skills gap within the merit-shop electrical contracting industry.
