HumanTouch, LLC Awarded IRS Information Technology Enterprise Program Management Support Services (IT-EPMSS)
MCLEAN, Va., June 6, 2019 (Newswire.com) - HumanTouch (HT) - the IRS' premier partner for IT and cybersecurity services since 2009 - was awarded the IT-EPMSS BPA by the Department of the Treasury, Internal Revenue Service (IRS). IT-EPMSS is a multi-award $1 billion BPA granted to nine IRS premier PMO delivery partners under the General Services Administration (GSA) Federal Supply Schedule 70, General Purpose Commercial Information Technology Equipment, Software and Services using Category 132-51- Information Technology Professional Services. IT-EPMSS BPA is projected to play a pivotal role in the IRS’ strategic portfolio planning, by enabling a culture of collaboration and integration with business and delivery partners.
The IRS selected HT and its team of delivery partners to assist the IRS IT Enterprise Program Management Office (EPMO) in its mission to monitor and manage information technology spending and delivery. Team HT has assembled a proven and world-class team to support the EPMSS PMO vision of integrated and end-to-end Program Management services and to deliver IRS enterprise-level information technologies (IT) capabilities. Team HT will provide the program management support necessary for successful project planning, management and the execution of enterprise-level information technology programs. Their proven methodologies, combined with the teams’ historical knowledge of the IRS organization, technologies and processes, will provide clear strategy, effective management and operational guidance and excellence to improve the efficiency, consistency and quality of the IRS PMO products and services. This strategic contract is the most recent award in a string of successful projects that puts HT at the forefront of Enterprise IT services work at the IRS. HumanTouch is already helping the IRS in a similar capacity with its most mission-critical system -- Customer Account Data Engine 2 (CADE 2) -- and a legislative priority under the last presidential agenda -- Affordable Care Act (ACA) programs.
