Harper's Bazaar's and ModelPromoter.com's Ten Ways to Look Skinnier by TONIGHT

If you're a top model, staying in shape is part of the job description. But that doesn't mean you're not human (albeit significantly more beautiful than most). So, when you're struck with an urge to pig out, to ahead; there's no problem with that.

If you're a top model, staying in shape is part of the job description. But that doesn't mean you're not human (albeit significantly more beautiful than most). So, when you're struck with an urge to pig out, to ahead; there's no problem with that. The problem is in the next-day bloating that it can cause.

To get you back in tip-top shape in time for your next modeling gig (i.e. tonight), the fine folks at ModelPromoter.com (the same site that brought you "Top 10 Things a Model Should Tell Herself") has, with the help of Harper's Bazaar, compiled a list of quick and easy steps to slimming down by sunset:

1. Just say, "No," to carbs... and dairy. Both those parts of the food pyramid are particularly bloat inducing. It's best to steer clear of them, at least until your most pressing commitment is through.

2. Salad, salad, salad. We've told you what not to eat, so here's the flipside of that: For breakfast, have watermelon. For lunch, have a salad with green toppings (cucumber, celery, asparagus) and chicken. Dress it with lemon juice, apple-cider vinegar and just a touch of olive oil. Repeat for dinner.

3. Run an Epsom salt bath. Soaking for 15 minutes in one cup of Epsom salts (dissolved in water, duh) is actually the opposite of retaining water. It'll suck it all out!

4. Spit out your gum! Every time you chew, you swallow air. Aside from causing uncomfortable gas, this will make you look bigger than you actually are.

5. Supplement with supplements. Beverly Hills endocrinologist Eva Cwynar says, "A blend of taurine, a natural amino acid, and vitamin B6 will help you lose water weight without losing essential electrolytes." Sounds good to us!

6. Sip your way to skinny. Drink lots of still water and avoid anything carbonated (those bubbles will only bloat up your belly).

7. Caffeinate your skin. Rubbing down your epidermis with a caffeinated body gel will reduce puffiness in a matter of hours.

8. Fake it with your make-up. You can make your face appear slimmer by working a cream bronzer in under your cheekbones and jaw line. When your face looks skinner, so does your body.

9. Airbrush some abs. It may seem silly, but getting an airbrush tan can be worth the cost. A professional can make you slightly darker on your triceps and inner and outer legs, which will make you look more trim.

10. Posture makes perfect. The simplest change you can make is to stand up straight. Making your body longer will distribute your body weight differently and make you look thinner. Voila!
