Good News, America, Business Ideas Now Come in a Box
Overland Park, KS, December 13, 2016 (Newswire.com) - 24 hours ago, Midnight 30 LLC launched their new card game, Idea Jab™, on Kickstarter.
The Kickstarter is off to a fast start, perhaps partially aided by a couple celebrity tweets including one from best-selling entrepreneurship author Todd Henry and another from famed Hollywood actor and comedian David Koechner, who like Idea Jab™ founders Matt Callegari and Alex Laughlin, is a Kansas City Chiefs fan.
Idea Jab™ is a tabletop card game that helps players generate their own original business ideas.
"When we started working on this, we were actually trying to sell business ideas because we're both lifelong 'business idea' fanatics, and over the years we've accumulated spreadsheets with thousands and thousands of our own new business ideas...I bet it's actually the largest list in the world," said Callegari "but we quickly pivoted away from that once we realized the real value is in the system used to generate those ideas, rather than the ideas themselves."
Callegari & Laughlin invented the game to help aspiring entrepreneurs discover their own big ideas, but after demoing their game with local universities, colleges and start-ups, realized the game was even more valuable when used as a classroom activity and team-building exercise in the workplace.
"'Business Ideas 101' isn't a course schools typically offer," said Anna C. As word of their game spread and the number of educators actively backing the young entrepreneurs skyrocketed.
