Good Day Pharmacy Purchases Shop-All Pharmacy

YUMA, Colo., October 23, 2017 (Newswire.com) - Colorado independent pharmacy chain, Good Day Pharmacy, purchased the Shop-All Pharmacy located inside the Shop-All Grocery store in Yuma. The change in ownership took place on Wednesday, Oct. 11, 2017.

Vicki Einhellig, President of Good Day Pharmacy, says, “We’re happy to expand into eastern Colorado. We have many unique pharmacy services that can help improve the health and wellness of our patients, and that will be complimentary to the medical assistance and advice provided by the area’s physicians.” Good Day Pharmacy hopes to increase their offering of medical equipment and supplies, offer custom compounded prescriptions, work to service residents in assisted living and senior communities, and at some point down the road offer a synchronized prescription program where a person’s medications are all on the same cycle and all come due at the same time each month.

The Shop-All Pharmacy and Grocery has been in business at its current location, 315 East 8th Avenue, Yuma, for 57 years. All pharmacy staff members will remain the same, with the addition of a new pharmacy manager, Landi Collins, PharmD. Landi is a recent graduate from South Dakota State University and is originally from Newton, Iowa. “I’m excited to move to Yuma and practice pharmacy in such a nice community. I’m looking forward to working with Shop-All, and getting to know the people here,” said Landi.

Alan White, RPh, has been a pharmacist with Shop-All for 30 years and will continue to work for Good Day Pharmacy. Alan is semi-retired, and working part-time at the new Yuma Good Day Pharmacy will be perfect for him. The other pharmacy team members, Elda, John, and Alivia, will continue with their previous positions at the pharmacy.

Good Day Pharmacy is an independent, family-owned company operating under the Health Mart umbrella, and employs 150 Colorado residents at 11 Colorado locations. Its principals are David Lamb, Vicki Einhellig, and Nancy Lamb. Collaboratively, all three owners serve on several organization boards: Rx Plus, Independent Pharmacy Cooperative, Independent Advisory Board, and Long-Term Care Network. Good Day also hosts internship programs and student rotations for pharmacy school students and pharmacy technicians.
