Global Flying Hospitals Grows Cultural Ambassadors Stable
Online, September 28, 2010 (Newswire.com) - With the appointment of Tommie Brewster on September 22nd, 2010, Global Flying Hospitals' stable of Cultural Ambassadors to the music industry has been expanded.
Ayi Jihu, the acclaimed Chinese R&B star, was the first to carry the message of Global Flying Hospitals humanitarian medical work to her fans and listeners in both Asia and the West. And this has intensified with the release of her new single; Sad Sweet Dreamer. Now, Tommie Brewster expands this further as she carries the message to her enthusiastic fans of her exciting music genre of the Blues.
Tommie has been inducted into the Blues Hall of Fame as Ambassador to New Zealand and received the Global Thunda Network; Inaugural Independent Artist Award in 2010. She started learning the piano at age 4 and eventually went on to study at the Royal Academy of Music in London, learning several other instruments in the process. Her influences have been classical, rock, blues, jazz, ragtime, heavy metal, reggae - however it is the Blues that has always spoken loudest in her heart.
Today, she writes, produces and performs her music in a very special way.
With her content-rich background as a highly accomplished artist, she is taking the message of Global Flying Hospitals to her global fan base and via her international radio program. Simultaneously, she is producing a theme song for the charity, to be released by Christmas 2010.
