Global Flying Hospitals - Reinvents with Mobile Hospitals

Global Flying Hospitals has re-invented in order to create a far more effective working model in humanitarian medical care and training.

Global Flying Hospitals has taken steps to re-invent. The humanitarian medical organisation has moved away from the Boeing 747 Training Hospital paradigm, to high-tech, 21st Century mobile hospitals, transported inside Hercules C130 and L100 type cargo aircraft.

Operational and Cost Limitations
The GFH Board has examined all the options, in order to develop a 'Best Practice' and lessen the toll on donors, sponsors and supporters funds. Wide-body jets have become restrictive in their escalating costs, which are compounded by their operational limitations and effectiveness for humanitarian work.

Such heavy jets can only reach a handful of major city airports in developing countries, whereas the Hercules type aircraft can reach villages, towns and airstrips in a myriad of situations. eg, in the Asia region, only 35 or so airports can accommodate the large jets (and especially in relation to crowd control for patients etc). Hercules can reach some 2,000 small landing strips, airports and unprepared landing zones in the same region.

The NEW GFH Model.
In conjunction with manufacturers of specialized mobile hospitals, a new system is being designed and manufactured to produce a world-first. These sterile, self-sustaining, expandable at the touch of a button, off-loadable hospitals contain the most modern medical equipment available ... and will bring far more efficiency to the needs of suffering people in developing countries.

This is the future of Global Flying Hospitals!

The aim of GFH is to be the world's medical aviation fleet, quickly reaching disaster areas, while simultaneously maintaining medical missions, training and assistance worlwide.
