Ernest "The Cat" Miller, former WCW Superstar and commissioner of the inaugural River City Sports Festival [RCSF], today announced that Garett Bischoff, current TNA/Impact Wrestling Superstar, will collide with former NWA, WWE, WCW and current TNA/Impact superstars at "Rumble in River City," a pro wrestling show headlining the amateur multi-sport competition, May 9-11, 2014, in Mason City, Iowa. Wrestlers will enter the squared circle Saturday night, May 10, at North Iowa Area Community College [NIACC]. Event information and wrestling tournament registration can be found at www.rcsportsfestival.com.

Bischoff is joining Dan "The Beast" Severn, the only UFC Triple Crown Champion and former NWA Superstar, on the card at "Rumble in River City." Last week, Severn was announced as a participating superstar, who will also host a mixed-martial arts clinic May 9, delivering a karate demonstration.

Garett Bischoff is also known for being the son of pro wrestling icon Eric Bischoff, a long-time entertainment television producer, as well as former front man for both WCW and WWE. Today, Eric has joined Garett at TNA/Impact, where he serves as an executive producer.

"There's nothing better than wrestling royalty to crown the 'Rumble in River City' card next month at the River City Sports Festival," Miller said. "Garett comes from a family with very strong leadership in pro wrestling during the past few decades. He will bring his explosive style and charismatic role to the ring, and perform brilliantly to our burgeoning crowd of patrons. It should be simply fantastic!"

Miller added that Ronin' Productions, presenter of RCSF, in association with Impact Pro Wrestling of Iowa, will soon announce more wrestling superstars who will battle in the ring at "Rumble in River City." In addition, Miller and Ronin', in partnership with the Iowa Economic Development Authority and the North Iowa Sports Authority, recently kicked-off a campaign offering free tickets for "Rumble in River City." They are now available for the first 1,000 competitors registering in advance for RCSF.

The three-day RCSF event will feature archery, basketball, dance, karate, power lifting, roller derby, softball, tennis and wrestling for both individual and team competitors. Competitions will be held at the NIACC complex, while Mason City Parks and Recreation will host the softball and tennis tournaments and the Mohawk Archery Club will host the archery contests. Registration and more competition information are available at www.rcsportsfestival.com.
