Former Planesense Fractional Aircraft Ownership Pilot Receives Wright Brothers Master Pilot Award

The award recognizes efforts of pilots who have spent more than 50 consecutive years piloting aircraft while following the awareness and precaution of safe operations.
Johnson began his flying career in Vietnam piloting A-4 air attack aircraft for the Marine Corp. He flew a second tour in Viet Nam, flying O-1 Bird Dogs. After his military service, Johnson flew with Northwest Airlines and retired after 34 years as a 747 pilot. From there he became Chief Pilot for Alpha Flying which was later renamed PlaneSense fractional aircraft ownership company. He retired after piloting aircraft for a company in Africa.
