Set to feed families at the 1st Annual Thanksgiving Turkey Drive thanks to Whole Foods Market & The Salvation Army
NEWARK, N.J., November 7, 2018 (Newswire.com) - Families this Thanksgiving will not go hungry thanks to the Brooklyn Net Star Kenneth Farried, Rosemark Group, Whole Foods Market, Mayor Ras Baraka, Councilwomen LaMonica Mclver & The Salvation Army. For the first year, we are ready to provide 60 hot meals for the youth program & turkeys and fixings for guests who might otherwise go without. Last year, more than 3,000 children and families were fed, once again Whole Foods Market has signed on again to donate the Thanksgiving feast.
Kenneth Faried, a native of Newark, said, “I’m happy to be back home and doing whatever needs to be done to support the community and give back.” Faried’s HAT Foundation procures athletic opportunities to those in need.
