Fidelity Local 6 in Rolla, MO Awarded Gold at 2018 AVA Digital Awards
ROLLA, Mo., May 17, 2018 (Newswire.com) - Fidelity Communications is celebrating a recent Gold Medal Award win at the 2018 AVA Digital Awards competition. The Fidelity Local 6 broadcast team in Rolla, MO was honored with the Gold Award for Video Production for their show "The Weekly Recap with Matt Wacker."
The AVA Digital Awards is an international competition that recognizes outstanding work by creative professionals involved in the concept, direction, design, and production of digital media. The competition is hosted and judged by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals, which consists of media, marketing, and advertising, and communications professionals. The AVA Digital Awards honor outstanding achievements in, and service to, the communications professions. Over 2,500 entries were sent in from across the United States, as well as 18 other countries from around the globe.
This win marks the fourth award for "The Weekly Recap with Matt Wacker" since the show premiered in June of 2015, following three People’s Telly Awards. "The Weekly Recap" provides high-energy, hyper-local news and entertainment for the Rolla area. In addition to his hosting duties, Matt Wacker serves as the video production manager for the Fidelity Local 6 broadcast team, which produces the show along with a variety of other local broadcasts, including community events and local sports.
