Feniex Industries CEO Hamza Deyaf Rejects $40M Buyout Offer
American Manufacturer of Technology Products for First Responders Resists Acquisition
AUSTIN, Texas, March 4, 2019 (Newswire.com) - Feniex Industries, a manufacturer of innovative, American-made products for emergency response vehicles, today announces it will not be accepting an acquisition offer made by one of its competitors. Instead, the company will continue to scale its operations and gain market share as an independent, privately owned enterprise.
The company recently received multiple offers of acquisition, made by both competitors and outside entities looking to enter the emergency warning industry.
“Our customers are first responders, many entrepreneurs themselves,” said CEO and founder Hamza Deyaf. “They are police officers and firefighters – American heroes. It makes sense to ensure the technology they use to get their jobs done is made in America, by American workers who are also dedicating their days to achieving their dreams and improving the lives of others. We won’t let go of that commitment as we continue to grow.”
Feniex Industries was founded by Deyaf in 2009 while he was a student at The University of Texas in Austin. He sold his first company in 2008 on a multi-million-dollar buyout, which he used to fund his new venture, Feniex Industries. The business has since grown 500 percent in the past five years, closing over $100 million dollars in sales since it was founded.
