The key issues preventing the export-oriented businesses from efficient work were determined during the "Accreditation as a Tool for Accomplishing the Foreign Trade Policy of the Russian Federation for the Purposes of World Trade Organization Membership" round-table discussion. Such issues include deficit of personnel qualified in accreditation and insufficient quantity of laboratories whose research are acknowledged abroad.

In the opinion of director of School of Engineering, Alexander Bekker, Far-Eastern Federal University could help solve the said issues in a lot of ways.

Such equipment allows us to receive the most accurate laboratory research results which, most crucially, will be acknowledged abroad. Besides, the FEFU faculty regularly participate in trainings not only in Russia, but also abroad.

During the event, the decision on the Far-Eastern Federal University cooperation with the business' representatives for the purposes of training specialists in the accreditation field was made.
