Each FAN GURU Masters of Cosplay event—a Grand Prix—includes divisions for everyone from Novice to Masters, including a special Youth division. Judges are selected from the most experienced and celebrated cosplayers, many of whom are national champions themselves. Entrants vie for cash prizes, including the top prize of $7,500 and the Masters of Cosplay International Champion crown. For each division, FAN GURU’s Fan Favorite voting will be available exclusively thru the FAN GURU app and online at https://www.fan.guru.
The 2019 Masters of Cosplay series includes 5 events: Calgary Expo (April 25-28), Fan Expo Dallas (May 3-5), Megacon Orlando (May 16-19), Fan Expo Boston (Aug. 16-18), and the Finals at Fan Expo Canada (Aug. 22-25) held in Toronto. FAN GURU’s sponsorship will continue thru the 2020 and 2021 event series.
FAN GURU will also serve as the Official Event App for all Fan Expo events thru 2021.
