SOUTHPORT, Conn., December 3, 2018 (Newswire.com) - The Negg® Egg Peeler inventors and Fairfield County residents Bonnie Tyler and Sheila Torgan take their show on the road and announce their Fairfield County Egg-Peeling and Deviled Egg-Making Demonstration Tour, which continues this Saturday in Wilton and next week in Old Greenwich.
First Stop: Saturday, Dec. 8, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Cooks Nook, 39 Danbury Road, Wilton, Connecticut; 203-831-8777
Second Stop: Saturday, Dec. 15, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Feinsod Hardware, 268 Sound Beach Avenue, Old Greenwich, Connecticut; 203-637-3641
The patented Negg® was invented by Tyler and Torgan, two local business women and long-time Connecticut residents. They have been in business together for over 16 years and are the co-inventors of the patented Negg® egg peeler. Their invention was born out of the frustration of peeling hard-boiled eggs. What started out as proof-of-concept has ended with The Negg® being the number-one-selling egg peeler around the world.
The Negg® is touted by The Kitchn blogger Katey Workman. “As a food writer, I see tons of new products, ingredients, trends, and so on. Turns out the thing is easy, fast, and fun. My 15-year-old son also thought so, and it’s not usually easy to rope him into egg peeling. So I made room in my kitchen cabinets for one more little gadget. And the best news is that my deviled egg output is going to get a lot more robust, which will make everyone in my world just that much happier.”
