FAFS' 50 50 Raffle Offers More Chances to Win
Online, November 16, 2010 (Newswire.com) - Foster and Adoptive Family Services' (FAFS) annual 50 50 raffle is now underway. This year, there will be not one, but three winners in the charity raffle, giving participants more chances to receive prize money. The winning 50 50 raffle tickets will be pulled at 1:00 p.m. on December 30, 2010 at the FAFS office in Monmouth Junction, NJ. Half of the total proceeds received will go towards prize money, and the other half will go towards FAFS' programs and services for children in foster care and foster families.
FAFS' 50 50 raffle prize money will be distributed as follows:
• First Place Winner: 25% of prize money
• Second Place Winner: 15% of prize money
• Third Place Winner: 10% of prize money
Nicky Goodwine-Samuels, FAFS' Director of Development and Communications, is excited for FAFS' charity raffle this fall, which offers more chances to win than in previous years.
"We hope that this, FAFS' last charity raffle of this calendar year, will be even more successful than the fall 50 50 raffle of 2009, which grossed nearly six-thousand dollars," says Samuels. "We look forward to congratulating three winners this fall, and to earning money to keep our privately-funded programs, many of which directly impact the lives of children in foster care, going strong!"
Tickets for FAFS' 50 50 raffle are $1.00 per ticket and are available in books of 5 ($5.00) and 15 ($15.00). To purchase your charity raffle tickets, please contact Lynn Patmalnee, FAFS Special Projects Coordinator at 1.800.222.0047.
