ESPN Continues Reign Atop Shareablee's Rankings of Most Engaged U.S. TV Networks

​Shareablee Inc., the global leader in audience-based social media measurement, today released their ranking of the most socially engaged American TV networks for October, 2018. The ranking, which includes all television shows and all main network brand accounts under their respective networks, reflects a total of 810.7 million actions across Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. 

Disney’s ESPN earned the top ranking once again last month with 166.8 million cross platform actions, while E! ranked second with 61.2 million actions. Fox News came in third with 54.8 million actions, followed by CW (54.6 million actions) and ABC (53.6 million actions). ​

Other Findings:

  • The top ranked Primetime TV shows on social media last month were Riverdale (34.8 million actions), Grey’s Anatomy on ABC (8.8 million actions), and The Walking Dead on AMC (8.8 million actions).​
  • ABC again topped the rankings in the video category with 718.5 million views in September. 
  • The fastest growing TV networks in October were Sundance TV (588.5 percent), MTV Live (185.33 percent), Travel Channel (125.0 percent), The CW Network (121.03 percent), and TNT (110.4 percent).
