Emerging Movement of Women Entrepreneurs Celebrated in Delhi

NEW DELHI, India, February 27, 2019 (Newswire.com) - As part of its global mandate to promote women’s leadership, 5th Element Group India sponsored the Indian Leadership Conclave from February 16-17, 2019, at the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade in New Delhi. The event is one of three global, sanctioned “Decade Of Women Summits” in 2019, as part of the movement that was launched at the United Nations on International Women’s Day last March.

Hosted by India Needs You (INY), distinguished and rising leaders in the fields of politics, academia, and business convened to celebrate the developing culture of social impact being fostered by Indian corporations. The Conclave envisioned further empowerment of women through existing social impact business strategies, including new approaches to the recent mandate on Indian companies to give 2% of profits to charity.

Multi-dimensional dialogues during the event focused on further motivating leaders to pursue solutions to today’s most pressing global challenges. Those solutions will promote the importance of the rise of women’s leadership in order to advance the core elements of a flourishing society.
