New facility offers faster product delivery, convenient Will Call, and 24/7 Self Service pickup
Mahwah, New Jersey, March 7, 2017 (Newswire.com) - eDist Security, the leading value-added resource for integrated and automated security solutions, has announced the opening of a new shipping facility in Dallas, Texas. The 6,000-square foot warehouse space, conveniently located at 3636 Buckner Boulevard, boasts an additional 400 square-foot state-of-the-art Will Call and Self Service area. The facility made its first shipment on January 9.
Nick Scarane, President of eDist Security, explained that it was the desire to expedite product delivery, as well as to provide a higher level of service to their customers, that prompted the move to the new space, which also hosts the company’s Business operations. “The decision was based on density of customer population, ensuring that we can provide next day, and even same day delivery,” he said. “With its central location and population growth, Dallas is the ideal site to achieve this objective.”

Scarane added that the company is also responding to customer demand for an eDist location in the Dallas area. As a result, the facility, which was formerly located in Austin, Texas, will be able to provide same day delivery for the majority of their Dallas customers, via carrier or Will Call pick up. The facility’s close vicinity to major shipping carriers will allow the remainder of the state to benefit from next day delivery.
The new warehouse also offers advanced customer service initiatives. Beginning on February 6, a 24/7 Self Service option will allow for product installers to enter a secured area to pick up items at all times. This service is further enhanced with the ability for these customers to speak with eDist Security representatives via phone from 6:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Additionally, a carrier service is now available for local installers, delivering the product to job sites in Dallas and the surrounding area from over 250 leading vendors such as Honeywell, Silent Knight, Fire Lite, System Sensor, Interlogix, DSC, Qolsys, 2Gig, Digital Watchdog and Hikvision.
