"Dual Glass": Provides Passengers With a Choice of Two Alternative Window-Panels - One Clear and One Tinted

Invents unveils "Dual Glass", which provides a new vehicle vision on the horizon if using the enhanced feature.

Good and proper vision is vitally important to everyone and even more do those in vehicles traveling along highways and byways at high, medium or low speeds.  Dual Glass will equip new motor vehicles with a unique optional feature designed to enhance the comfort, convenience and safety of motorists and their passengers with a choice in every window – of two alternative window-panels – one clear and one tinted.

The Dual Glass meets and exceeds the standards established by the National Highway Safety Transportation Administration (NHTSA) for automotive window glass. Each of the two panels slide up and down just as does a standard window. Each panel occupies a channel in the frame when up and concealed within the door when down. A second window channel can be incorporated into the vehicle’s doors with one channel for the clear glass window and one for the tinted or a tilt-and-shift or split window mechanism, all concealed within the door and allow the user to select the desired window. Televised test marketing has recently been completed indicating strong consumer interest in the Dual Glass.

The Patent Pending Dual Glass was invented by Jerome Pious of Newman, CA who said “Drivers and passengers have long been awaiting this product because of the safety it offers. It reduces glare from the sun and reflected light from snow including that of headlights of oncoming vehicles at night. It also serves as temperature control during those hot humid days when a vehicle is parked in the outdoors. Dual Glass enables the driver and passengers to make a choice between clear and tinted windows according to local laws, weather and visibility conditions. Dual Glass works.”
