DirectRooms.com reveals that Mottola will be playing host to a collection of guitarists from countries worldwide who will be performing in special concerts featuring all kinds of musical styles.
Online, June 2, 2011 (Newswire.com) - Mottola Guitar Festival is a chance for anyone with a love for guitar music to hear music ranging from classical and jazz through to the best in rock, new age and country. Almost every possible style of guitar music will be played at the event giving musicians and fans a comprehensive repertoire of the finest sounds that can be achieved with the instrument.
The concerts themselves will consist of a mixture of soloists, duos and ensembles from native Italy as well as France, Argentina and America to give the shows an international flavour.
As part of the festival there will a competition looking for the best guitarists and young performers with collective prize money valued at €4,500 for the winners. Entrants will be giving recitals of specific pieces and their own selections which will run from 7th to 10th July 2011.
The actual festival itself takes place between 2nd to 10th July 2011 and any musicians staying in a hotel Naples and wanting to improve can ahead over for one of the master classes where leading players will be teaching classical guitar along with Latin American and baroque styles.
