Director of OSIRIS Paints to Raise Money for Film

Writer/director/producer IAN PATRICK ANDERSON creates art series to aid in funding of short film project.

Ian Patrick Anderson, the writer, director, and producer of OSIRIS, a short film produced by Kasey Lubin, will paint a series of images inspired by his vision of the film.

Ian comments on the art series: "These painting are solidly linked to my final vision of the film. The goal of any artwork should be to get viewers to look at something in a new way. Since the paintings and the film are linked, the paintings will provide a lens through which to view the film, and if successful, the film will provide a lens through which to view reality."

As of now, their IndieGoGo fundraising campaign only has one week left, and the producers still need another two thousand dollars to get the film in the can.

The producers appear confident that they will get the film made in one way or another. "I am fully confident that we will raise the funds to make this film," said Ian--"it is just a matter of time, really."

The IndieGoGo fundraising campaign can be found at indiegogo.com/osiris. The filmmakers plan to premier the final version of the film some time in late 2011 or early 2012.
