We are beyond excited for the first concert of the season and hope you will bring the entire family to see the Diablo Wind Symphony.

John Maltester, Conductor, Artistic Director

Brazzissimo was started in 2004 by a group of bay area professional brass players who wanted to explore a variety of brass music spanning all styles and time periods. It is a ten-piece group consisting of four trumpets, French horn, four trombones (including euphonium), and one tuba. Music on this concert ranges from Biebl’s Ave Maria to Jacob Gabe’s Jealousy.

The 57-member DWS is made up of outstanding high school and college musicians in the area who present four concerts a season that feature prominent guest artists.

Admission is $6 for general and $2 for students and senior citizens. Tickets will be available at the door.
