DesertedRoad Teams with Golf for the Kids to Help the Children of St. Jude Children's Hospital

DesertedRoad volunteers for Golf for the Kids annual tournament to help St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at The Country Club of the South in Alpharetta.

For seven years, Golf for the Kids has been dedicated to serving the children and parents of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital by hosting an annual golf tournament at The Country Club of the South in Alpharetta, Georgia. Always a success, it teams companies and individuals together to assist parents with providing for their children in a very trying time.

Since St. Jude opened its doors in 1962, they have helped over 5,000 patients. St. Jude Children's Research Hospital has a mission to find cures for children with cancer and other catastrophic diseases. St. Jude's philosophy, "No child is ever denied treatment because of the family's inability to pay," was Angie Rehkop's, the Sponsorship Chairperson, motivation for the Golf for the Kids Tournament and is a key contributing factor to the tournaments continued annual success.

At the 7th Annual Golf for the Kids Tournament, we will gather to benefit this excellent cause. DesertedRoad's team will join together to help raise awareness and funds to support the lifesaving efforts for the children. Not only will this be a fun event in which to attend and play some golf, but it will help to provide continued financial support to St. Jude's patients and families.

Joshua Davis, President/CEO of DesertedRoad, served on the leadership board for the event first in 2011. While no longer able to be a part of the leadership team, he still has a heart to helping the children of St. Jude. With that, DesertedRoad extends its staff, friends and family to help out in any way it can. DesertedRoad is excited to partner with Angie and the other tournament volunteers to make this year's event another great success for the children of St. Jude.
