DesertedRoad Sponsors Whispering Hope Twilight 5K in Their Mission to Promote Life

Online, August 7, 2013 (Newswire.com) - DesertedRoad is a Christian technology company based out of Cumming, GA dedicated to supporting local and international missions. Joshua Davis, President and CEO, is an avid sponsor of missionaries, missions organizations and many other charities. In addition to supporting missions financially, DesertedRoad's team members dedicate their time and prayers to the supported ministries.

One such ministry is Whispering Hope Women's Hope and Pregnancy Center (http://www.whisperinghope.org/). Whispering Hope Women's Hope and Pregnancy Center is a non-profit that provides medical services, coaching, and education for those experiencing an untimely pregnancy. They offer this in a very loving, compassionate and Christ-centered way, in hopes that more women choose life for their babies and become better parents while learning more about God's grace. What makes them different is that they are a safe environment, free from judgment, and based on love. They hope to support women and witness changed minds and changed hearts. Ultimately, they exist to be a safe haven and to one day see the end of abortion. In the past four and a half years, they have touched over 1,500 women, providing an outstretched hand when desperately needed.

Together with Whispering Hope, DesertedRoad is conducting a fundraising event: The Twilight 5K run. The Twilight event will take place on October 5th at First Redeemer Church, beginning at 5:00 P.M. Our goal for this fundraising event is to raise ten thousand dollars ($10,000) by October 5th, 2013 (the day of the event) for the Whispering Hope organization. Every dollar counts toward saving babies and creating the lives they deserve. DesertedRoad is overjoyed and elated to be a part of such a faith-driven cause.
