Denial Music Week, Miami

Denial Events at Miami Music Week, March 20-25, 2018

Denial Music Week

Nightlife in Miami has reached an apparent plateau and everyone has taken notice. Even as the world-famous Miami Music Week approaches, boasting Goliath DJ lineups spanning a seven-day period showcasing the world’s best talent at some of the best venues, those on the ground year-round can’t help it feels somewhat flat. The scene has become stagnant and predictable. The absence of the true top-shelf experience is affecting the bottom line of the nightclub industry and contributing towards its demise.

Enter Denial Events, whose mantra is to redefine not only the VIP party-goer's experience, but to reinvent artist programming, forcing innovation and forward thinking to once again carve out the memorable journeys into the abyss that we used to know and love, but struggle to come by very often.

Denial is going beyond what conventional nightlife entertainment does. It's living an experience like no other if even only for a few hours, escape life, be free.

Christian Parth, Founder, Denial Events

Examples of this aforementioned boundary pushing can be found littered throughout today’s Denial Music Week announcement! Not 1, 2, 3, 4, but 6 shows in a six-day span, all raising the bar and redefining what it means to "Live in Denial."

We begin with Tuesday night's label showcase, where Denial partnered with trance powerhouse Coldharbour Recordings and merged with the pioneers at Black Hole Recordings to create an entire night of back-to-back performances and crossover DJ sets. Special guests? You can certainly take that to the bank.

Wednesday, March 21, promises to be one of the highlights of the week as a whole as Markus Schulz presents his Dakota alias alongside Sander Van Doorn's Purple Haze for the very first time at W Miami! Factor in the stunning views and a backdrop of the entire Magic City, and support by David Gravell and Solid Stone, this is a trance music lover's dream come true. Lasers blasting off from 51 stories in the air? Dark, techy grooves from two legends in their scene, it’s no wonder pre-sales for this show are close to selling out in just under 24 hours.

Above & Beyond previously announced that they will be closing out their massive "Common Ground" North American tour with a stop in Miami at the famed RC Cola Plant during Miami Music Week on March 22, 2018. This is Above & Beyond’s third headline event at RC Cola Plant, with previous years quickly selling out. Above & Beyond will be joined by very special guest and Anjunabeats alumni Seven Lions, Gabriel & Dresden and more, but what truly makes this show unique is the Denial Events VIP deck. Staying true to its elitist beginnings, team Denial has enhanced the VIP deck and expanded it to include spacing for 36 tables, with front row views to arguably the biggest show of the week, period.

And the most exclusive and limited experience to date from Denial Events comes to Miami on the penultimate day of Miami Music Week 2018 at the Doheny Lounge inside the Delano Hotel Saturday, March 24, as Stefan from DADA LIFE will be performing solo as MACHINE MADE, playing tunes that inspire him - music that goes beyond what he has accomplished in his illustrious career. History is here to be made. In a cluttered scene of stagnation, this experience prioritizes the most important element, the reason why we all do what we do, and that’s the music, real music, in an intoxicating setting, up close and personal.

Denial Events is bringing back the intimacy missing in the major nightclubs and creating a true VIP experience as they raise the bar on what patrons can expect the next time they go out for a night on the town. And today, with the release of the "Denial Music Week All-Access Pass," patrons can get a front row seat to every Denial show during Miami Music Week, including Erick Morillo’s birthday bash at ORA and Cosmic Gate’s "Wake Your Mind" party Friday at W Miami, for a single $200 fee. Omitted from the package is "Above and Beyond" at RC Cola plant, however, tables are still available for purchase.
